Configure the following parameters before updating the firmware.
COM port:
Select the COM port by the following procedures.
1 Install a full-charged battery pack to the transceiver.

2 Turn the transceiver power OFF.

3 Turn the transceiver power ON while pressing and holding [PTT] and the [1] key, and place the transceiver in Firmware Programming Mode.

4 Connect the transceiver’s USB 2.0 micro B port to your PC’s USB port using a USB 2.0 cable.
